ARRIVALS. January 28— Manaroa, s.s. (1 p.m.), 124 tons, Hart, from Motueka. DEPARTURES. Jauuary 28— Sloa, s.b. (12.20 p.m.), 188 tons, Sawyer, for Westport. January 2S— Arahura, s.s. (1 p.m.), 1590 tons, Lambert, for Picton, Nelbon, Westport, and Greymouth. January 28— Gertie, s.b. (1.20 p.m.), 204 tons, Rodger, for Foxtou. January 2S — Kahu, s.e. (1.30 p.m.), IS2 tons, Jones, for Napier via coast. NEREHANA ARRIVED HOME. Advice lms been received that the Tyser steamer Nerehana arrived at London on Wednesday last. The vessel has made a fast trip, cutting out the distance in 40 days. KAIKOURA AND RAKAIA. A cablegram has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Compaay that the Karkoura left London for Auckland and Wellington on the 25th inst., and the Rakaia is to leave on the 10th Febiuary for Donedin. The Kaikoura, is due at Auckland about the 10th March, and at Wellington about a week later. The Nikau io to undergo an overhaul at Wellington on Monday, and in consequence she will not leave for Nelson to-day. The Waverley takes her running to Nelson, and the Kjvitoa. from Motueka and Nelson to Wellington on Monday. BY TELEGRAPH. NAPIER. 2Sth January.
