CRICKET. MID-WEEK REPRESENTATIVES.

WELLINGTON v. CANTERBURY. The annual matches between the representatives of the Wellington Wednesday Association and the Canterbury Thursday Association, both senior and junior, were begun this morning on the Ba&in Reserve in ideal cricket weather. The wickets wore in good order, though at first slightly assisting the bowlers. Canterbury won. the Loss in each instance, and elected to bat. On No. 1, the senior team was all out in an hour's time for 51, Harris's slows mowing them down. The visitors failed to get the pace of the wicket. The teams are as follow :
