Mr. Lawrence Campbell, the elocutionist, who made so favourable an impression on his first visit to Wellington at Christmas time, is to give return performances in company with M. Eugene Oesipoff, the Russian singer, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nighte. in the Town Hall Concert Chamber. An addition to Mr. Campbell's attractive programme will be the Wellington debut of -Miss Ina Gow. L.A.8.. A.T.C.L., a young pianist of ability from Dunedin, and latterly teacher of the Wanganui Girls' High School.
Excursion fares on the railway will be issued in connection with the A", and P. Show to be held at Levin, on Wednesday, Ist February. Record entries have been received, and in the competitions alone some 170 hoi'ses have entered. Tho competitions includo four jumping event-, trotting race, motor bike race, and a boys' pony race. Given a fine day, the annual show of ]QH should provide a very sueoessful one, '
