The attendance was very good and the weather ideal. The courts played very true, and much better games were witnessed than on Saturday. Parker (Wellington) won by default from J. Steele (Carterton). Men's Champion Doubles — H. A. Parker and Brown (Wellington) beat C. Griffiths (Wellington) and J. Blundell (Masterton), 6— C, 6-^l. Ladies' Champion Singles, second round — Miss Hartgill (Dannevirke-) beat Miss Linton (Wellington), 6—3,6 — 3, 7—57 — 5 ; Miss Travel's (Wellington) beat Miss Simpson, 6—3,6 — 3, 6—2;6 — 2; Miss Wellwood (Hastings.) beat Miss Booth (Carterton), 4—6, 6—4, 6—l. Ladies' Champion Doubles, first round — Misses Nunneley and Simpson (Wellington) beat Misses Williams (Wellington) and Hartgill (Dannevirke), 6—3,6 — 3, 6—3;6 — 3; Misses Turton (Wellington) and Brewster (New Plymouth) beat Misses Bolton and L. K. Hughes (Pahiatua), 6-4, 7—5. Combined Champion Doubles, first round — H. Parker and Miss Travers ("Wellington) beat Griffiths- and Miss Linton (Wellington). 6—2, 6—o; J. Swainson (Pahiatua) and Miss Booth (Carterton) beat F. G. Aitken (Masterton) and Miss Simpson (Wellington), 4—6, 6—3, 6—3 ; F. M. B. Fisher (Wellington) and Miss Wellwood (Hastings) beat Kemptorne (Nelson) and Miss Bell (Nelson), 6—o, 6—o; Brown and Miss Nunneley (Wellington) beat State and Miss G.
