PLAINTIFFS BY DEFAULT. Mrs. Margate Curtis, -£7 10s, costs £1 3s 6d; Stewart Timber, Glass, and Hardware Co., Ltd. v Henry Cockran, £2 19s 2d. costs ss; same v. David Johnstone, £3 16s Bd, costs ss; Morfee and Whitehead v. George Carpenter, £5 14s, costs £1 4s 6d Houlder and Henneker v. Albert. Hutchinson, £1 7s Bd, costs ss ; C. and A. Odlin Timber and Hardware Co., Ltd. v. Patrick John Sullivan, £11 17s 6d, costs £1 12s 6d. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. William White was ordered to pay £2 10s Id to S. W. Cope on or before 22nd November, in default to undergo threo clays' imprisonment. No oi'der was made in the following cases :— Bates and Lees v. Henry White, a claim for £4 7s 6d ; and Jackson and Co. v. John Fraser, £10 2s 7d. FOR IRONBARK PILES. Betore Dr. A. M' Arthur, S.M., John M'Lean and Son, contractors, of Wellington, sued David Andrews, contractor, of Tory-street, to recover the sum of £113 4s 3d, as balance on twelve ironbark piles said to have been sold and delivered to the defendant, ballast and filling. Mr. C. B. M orison appealed for the plaintiff, Mr. Blair for defendant. After a good deal of evidence had been tukon, the case was 1 adjourned sine die.
