INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION.
The Wellington Industrial Association met last evening. The president {Mr. E. Bull) occupied the chair. ' There were fifteen members present. It was intended to hold a special general meeting, but owing to the want of a quorum, twenty members, tho meeting lapsed into an ordinary meeting. Messrs. M'Leod Bros.. Dunedin, soap manufacturers, were elected members of the association. The Friftiley Company wrote to thank the association for its letter of sympathy over the loss sustained by the rerent frost at Hastings. They hoped with what of their crop they had saved, and with the out-side supplies offering, to be able to fulfil all orders. Accounts totalling £17 2s 2d were passed for fcavmoafc,
