Mr. Fisher, in announcing his forthcoming visit to South Africa, gave an outline of the Bills the Government expected the House to pass before the end of the session. PROVISION FOR NAVAL DEFENCE CONGRATULATIONS TO SOUTH AFRICA. (Received Oitbber 5, 11.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. A Bill to grant £2,590,000 for Naval Defence purposes passed all stages in the Federal House. A motion was passed congratulating South Africa on the consummation of union.
