Many suggestions have been made that the ashes should be buried in St. Paul's Cathedral beside those of the late Sir J. E. Millais. [Sir John Millais, born in 1829, died at London on 13th August, 1896. He was a- noted genre, landscape and por trait painter. In 1848, with Holman Hunt, Rossetti, and others, he founded the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and began to paint with the precision and attention to detail which characterise that school.
