CHANGE APPROACHING.
-i * . There appears more than a likelihood of a change in the extremely agreeable .weather, conditions that have obtained this week. The Rev. D. C. Bates speaks of a storm aTea approaching from the ,westward, and a very low barometric pressure by Tuesday evening. The Government Meteorologist forecasts a • piping northerly by to-morrow evening, and altogether a change for the worse after about 48 hours. Conditions during the past week have been somewhat changeable at the extreme ends of the islands. Heavy weather was experienced north of Kawhia and Gisborne. Frosts are anticipated on the East Coast.
