NEW YORK, sth July, Mr. Roosevelt is annoyed at the New 'York Legislature's rejection of the election reform ("Direct Primaries") measure. He is planning to control the next JRepablican State Convention. [Despite the efforts of Mr. Hughes (Governor of New York), President Taffc, and Mr. Roosevelt, the New York Assembly, by 80 votes to 62, shelved the Direct Primaries Bill.]
