Association for the Pre-, veitfcion of Consumption is holding a -conference at Edinburgh. Professor Woodhead, of Cambridge, said the majority of' cases of consumption arose-from inhalation. The chief danger wa« the, broken skin of the mucouß membrane. [The object of the National Association for the Prevention, of Consumption and other forms of Tuberculosis (to give the organisation its full title) is the collection and diffusion of information as to the spread, treatment, and prevention of consumption. Professor Woodhead,. M.A., M.D., is Professor of Pathology at Cambridge. He was -a member of the Royal Commission on Tuberculosis. (1902).]
