PLAGUE AT AUCKLAND. STAMPED OUT.
The Minister of Public Health the Hon. D. Buddo informed a Post reporter to-day that the recent outbreak of plague at Auckland had been stamped out and that no trace of the disease now remained. The District Health Officer had certified that all quarantine restrictions had been removed, and that he had arranged for the discharge of the patient whose case was diagnosed as serious, and' also of the suspect who was under observation. The Port Health Officer will now give a clean bill of health.
