SYDNEY SHEEP SALES.
GOOD PRICES
By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 4th July. At the Sydney sheep sales the o rand champion ram Sylvander fetched 450 guineas. He ,was purchased for South , Africa. A special stud iam, purchased by the Orange River Government, brought 410 guineas. Both rams were from the Gibson flock at Eskvale, Tasmania. In the British breeds, sales were made on account of the Moeraki Estate of 81 Lincoln rams, at an average price of £3 Is 3d ; 20 ewes averaged £4 3s. On account of Mr. Douthwaite (Waimate), 14 Lincoln ram hoggets were sold at an average price of 33 guineas, and five ewe hoggets averaged 4i guineas. On account of Mr. Hay (Pigeon Bay), seven Dorset rams went at an average of a guinea, and eleven Dorset ewes at an average of £2 2s. (Received July 5, 9.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day.
