ORANGE RIVER SCHOOLS.
RESULT OF A MEETING.
By Telegraph.— Pkis Association.— Copyright BLOEMFONTEIN, 4th July. As a result of the meeting of party leaders held in May, schools were iriimediately opened at Bloemfontein, Harrismith, Bethelhcm, and Flicksburg. Other schools are also contemplated, and will be built as funds are available. The curriculum will be similar to the Transvaal code of 1909. The children will be taught through the medium of their mother tongue, and the teachers will be eligible, whether unilingual or bilingual, and irrespective of their nationality.
