RUGBY FOOTBALL
'ihe Rugby games postponed from last Saturday are set forward to to-morrow. The chief senior games are Petone v. Oriental, Poneke v. Old Boys at Athletic Park, and St. James v. Melrose, Hutt v. Southern, at Lower Hutt. The Petone-Oiientai fixture has been looked forward to with interest on account of the games that have resulted when these two teams have met during the last two or three seasons. Two players closely identified with football in Wellington will mg.ke their reappearance — Fred Roberts, of Oriental, and W. J. Hardham, for Petone. Poneke and Old Boys played on No. 2 ground last season, and their game attracted all the attention away from the No. 1 ground. The game to-morrow should prove close > and interesting. The Sports Edition of the Evening Post, to be issued to-morrow evening, will contain full reports of the matches.
