Brewer's timber yard at Clifton Hill, covering half an acre, with the mills and valuable machinery, were destroyed by fire. The damage is estimated at £20,000. SCHOOL BURNED DOWN. A BOI'S CONFESSION. MELBOURNE, This Day. The Flowerdalfi State School was borned down. A boy aged 14 has confessed that he fired the buiiding to avoid having to attend school.
