The next best despatch for Canada. United States of America, West Indies, will be via FIJI. Fanning Island, Honolulu, and Vancouver, closing at Wellington, per Main Trunk train, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee 11.30 a.m.; mail van 12.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 12th April. All the principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Aro and Conrtenay-place Post Offices at the same bonM aa at the Chief Post Office, with Uie exception that there is no late-fee clearance. Money orders for abroad most be obtained two hours before tiie advertised time of dosing mails. All books aud sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half an bour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
