An application from the Porirua Boys* Club with refer«nc« to acceptance 01 entries wan agreed to, the oueetion of matches being loft to the Boys' Subcommittee to arrange. It wa» reeolved to unite with other sport* bodies with a view of having a conference with the Reserves Committee of the- City Council upon the vexed question, of transference of matches from city grounds in wet weather. An effort will bo made to secure a relaxation of th« present strictly enforced rule. Permission was granted St. Jamee's and Letter-carriers* Club* to withdraw one team each from their entries for thecompetition. At a well-attended meeting last ovening it was decided to form a Union Association Football Club, nnd to enter a team for the- Wednesday competition. Office-bearers were elected as follow : — Patron, C. J. Crawford; president, T. Shield*; vice-presidents, W. Duncan, P. Hatton-MiUer, J. T. Millington, H. S. Coburn, N. Bell, Wilson, M. J. DonrveHy, and F. Earle; hon. secretary and treasurer, A. J. Williamson ; dub captain, W. H. Oayford ; hon. auditor, W. Duncan; management committee, J. Huddleston, A. J. Willianieon, and W. H. Gayford ; selection committee, 11. Bead, A. J. Williamson, nnd tho captain ; delegates to Wellington Wednesday Football Association, W. Duncan and \. J. Wilson. Club colours chosen were »"ed and black half shirt, white knickers and black stockings.
