[BX TELtCBAPn— SJECIAt TO THE rOST.] CARTERTON, ThU Day. At a meeting of the stewards of the Taratahi-Carterton Rucing Club, Mcsin. G. W. Deller and 11. R. Bunny were appointed delegates to attend tho conference convened by the Wellington Club to discuss matters of interest to racing clubs The annual race meeting it to be held on 9th and 10th November, and tho hack guineas event for 1911 is to be allowed to lapse. The' secretary has been instructed to place icrtain defaulters upon tho unpaid forfeit list.
