CAPITAL APPLICATIONS. By telegraph.— Presi ABsooiatlon.— Copyright. LONDON, 4th April. The newspaper Economist states that the quarter s capital applications totalled £99,355,600, compared with £64,ii.sß,4Co for the corresponding quarter of 1909. Rubber companies' applications represented £6,087,000. Colonial issues totalled £28,967,700, of which Australia and Xew Zealand took £4,393,700 and Canada £10,196,000. Tho Unietd States absorbed £16,070,900, chiefly railway bonds.
