At the inquest on Mary Brown, an ex-inmate of To Oranga Home, who died in the hospital yesterday, a postmortem examination showed that the cause of death was phosphorus poisoning, and a verdict was returned that deceased committed nuicide by swallowing a solution of matches whilst in an | unsound state of mind. Frederick AVrigglesworth, aged sixty years, boarding at Ponsonby, shot himself twice with a revolver.
