MANAWATU EUGBY UNION. [BY TEI,EGBAPH. — PHESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON N., This Day. The Manawatu Rugby Union's annual meeting was held last night. Mr. E. D. Hoben was elected president, Mr. W. M'Kenzie secretary, and Messrs. Pirani and Muller delegates to the New Zealand Union. HUTT CLUB. At a meeting of the Hutt Football Club, held last evening, Mr. M. M'Gurk was unanimously elected to the position of selector. It is the intention of the club to enter five teams for the Wellington • championships. Practice commences this evening. The position of club vice-captain was conferred upon Mr. M. Welch.
