CANTERBURY TOURXEi. [BY TELEGRAPH — PHESS ASSOCIATION.] CHPISTCHURCH. 2nd April. The Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association's Easter tournament took place today. A high wind rendered good play almost impohr-ible. W . Gosj> won the men's rhampionsliip singles and championship of Canterbury, defeating L. S. Jennings-, 4—6,4 — 6, 7—6, 6—3.6 — 3. The men'fc handicap tingles was won by Watchorn, who boat Greenwood, 9—B.9 — 8.
