DEATH OF A JOCKEY.
[BY XELEGBAPH — I>BESS ASSOCIATION.} AUCKLAND, This Day. The jockey, H. Price, who was severely injured at the Ellerslie races an Saturday last, died in the hospital at midaight. Price was riding First Wairiki, which fell with Salute and Advocate in the Great Easter Handicap, and Price received injuries to his head. Porter, another jockey, was also severely injured.
