For Ceylon, India, China, Straits Settlements, South Africa, and Continent of Europo and United Kingdom, via Brindisi (due London 15th May), per Moerakl, 2.30 p.m. For Australian States (due S}doey 12th inst.) per Moeraki, 3.80 p.m. Mails for Australian States, per Victoria, close at Auckland, Monday, 4th inst., at 4.15 p.m., and »t Bluff, per Warrimoo, at 3 p.m. The next be«t despatch far United Kingdom and Continent of Europe will be via Brindisi, closing at Wellington, per Moeraki. on Friday, Bth inst., at 2.30 p.m. The next best despatch for Canada, United State? of America, West Indies, will be via Fiji, Fanning 'Island, Honolulu, and Vancourer, dosing at Wellington, per Mam Trunk train, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee 11.80 a.m.; mail ran 12.15 p.m. on Tuesday, 12th April. All the principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Aro and 'Courtenay-place Pott Offices at the same hoirs as at tha Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance. Monej orders for abroad must be obtained two hours before the ad\ertised time of closing mails. All books aud sample packets and newsP*P*rs for places witbin the Dominidn must •be posted half an hour before the ordinari letter mail closes.
