ANNUAL CONFERENCE. The annual conference of the Churches of Christ in the middle district of New Zealand was held at Spring Grove last week. The conference, which sat three days, discussed, £jnong other things, new fields of labour, foreign missions, tho Nelson district, Pahiatua, consolidation of churche.t, and recommendations for future, wovk. A good deal of interest was maniinsted in the South African mission, and\ the conference expressed keen appreciation of the work of Bro. HadfisW. The personnel of the Foreign MissAon Committee is now : — Sisters A. Johnstone, Callum, Craig, Richards, Pritchard, Messrs Campbell, Williams, and Mathi«>son. The conference resolved to form a Bible School Union, and elected as the first oxecutivc the following : —President, F. V, Knapp ; vice-presidenit, J. Grirfith ; secretary, M. Jackson; treasurer, F. J. Phillips; visitors, Messrs. Jordan and Glover ; committee, Mess vs. Jones, P. Boddington, E. Griffith, and P. Bolton. Tho Home Mission Executive for the new year ia as follow : — President, C. Wilson ; vice-president, J. Bowley ; committee, Messrs. Day, Williams, Owen, and Davis. The next conference will be held at Wanganui at Easter, 1911.
