Pimm, of Walham Green — wagged his tail merrily as, be decked with ribbons, ho played the part of host to over a thousand poor children of Fulhain on Bth February at the Town Hall. "Sam" belongs to the famous Lavender family which has won fame at dog shows in all parts of tho kingdom, and each year Mr. and Mrs. Pimm devote the proceeds of the prizes' gained by the "Lavenders" to brightening the lives of the children of Fulham. After consuming quantities of good things the children were mustered in the large hall for a delightful entertainment. On leaving, each child was presented with a bag containing a cake, 'two apples, nn orange, and some sweets, in addition to a pictorial memento of the Lavender family.
