Moore (Premier of Western Australia) to address 4000 persons at Leicester upon the subject of emigration. "NO ENCUMBRANCES." VICTORIAN AGENT-GENERAL INTERVIEWED. LONDON, 3-Isd March. Sir John Tayerner, Victorian AgentGeneral, interviewed by the Times on the Victorian Government's immigration | proposals^ said they specially provided for married people, and made special provision for farm labourers with families. The Times remarks that its Australian correspondent recently spoke with appreciation of the exertioas of the Victorian Government. That Government was not alluded to in the article on married immigrants any more than the New South Wales Government. The Times emphasised the fact that its correspondent's criticism was directed to the attitude of some private employers, not against action or inaction on the part of the State Government.
