DANGERS OF MOUNTAINCLIMBING.
MAN KILLED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 30th March. Mr, Lennard Salt, son of a Burton brewer, was killed while climbing Snowdon. He led a roped party of five. His end of the rope broke and *he fell 200 feet. Snowdon, ten miles south-east of Carnarvon, is the higiheaa mountain of Wales. It has five distinct peaks, of which Y-Wyddfa, the central and highest, rises 367] feet. Its west side is very precipitous, and partly formed of basalt. Its summit commands magnificent views.
