The committee, in its nnnual report, stated that the pant year ha-d been very successful. In the departure of tho Key. Father Keogh, the association had lost a most enthusiastic president, whoso personal influence had contributed in no small measure to the successful building up of the association ; and, indeed, to the advancement of all projects for the betterment of the college. On behalf o€ . the association, the committee had the pleasure of ■welcoming tho Rev. Dr. Kennedy, the successor of the late rector, to this city. Tho new president had lost little time in getting into touch with the affairs of the association, and had shown in many ways his deep interest in its welfare. The Hockey Club concluded a successful season. Trie first eleven for a long time remained unbeaten, and finally finished well up in the championship. The club was represented in tho junior hockey representative touring team by |he selection of Messrs. J. Quinn, F. Ryan, D. Campbell, and the Rev. F. S. Bartley. Ten new members were elected during the yeai', the total membership now standing at 250. The finance* of the association weie satisfactory, though the number of outstanding bub>criptions ia still very large. The credit balance for the year stands at, approximately, £28. The association's modal, donated annually to the dux of the college, was won thiß year by Master R. Muigan. The thanks of the committee are due to the following gentlemen for special subscriptions to tho funds of the association : — T Ik> Rev. Father Vcnning and Mr. Cyril Collins. In conclusion, the committee trusts that members, more particularly younger members, will continue to take & lively interest in tho affairs of the association, and by rendering practical assistance to the executive" enable it to extend tho activities of the association, and enlarge its sphere of upefulness. The election of officers for tho ensuing year resulted as follows : — President, Itov. Dr. Kennedy ; vice-presidents, Messra. M. J. Crombie, T. Hodgins, A. H. Casey, G. Harper, and Drs. M'Evedy and A. O'Brien ; hon. secretary, Mr. Frank E. Kelly (re-elected); hon. treasurer, Mr. Norman Crombie ; committee, Messrs. B. J. Devine, D. Kenny, F. Ryan, T. Ryan, C. Gamble, and \V. E. Butler; hou. auditor, Mr. W. R. S. Hickson It was decided that the committee meet at the college, and draw up a li«t of those Old Boys who have not yet joined the association, for the purpose of notifying them of the fact that the association was in , existence, and pointing out the advantages to be derived by becoming members. A suggestion was also made that the Old Boys should take a hand in assisting tlie> college faculty at the annual sports ©f the college, and that they be held in private grounds.
