ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[BY TELKGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, 29th March. A shooting accident occurred at Lake Rotoroa last evening, by which a- maa named Grater, a resident of Murchiaon, received severe injuries to his arm. At { the time that the accident happened he was getting out of his boat, when his gun went off unexpectedly. The injured man was taken to Murchison for medical attention. A younpc mah named William Porter died at Pokororo early this morning from the effects of a riding accident. He j vras found lying on the road at 1 tm., and was taken to a «hed. On the «hed being visited at 8 o'clock it wm found that Porter was dead. An explosion occurred at the Enner Glynn coal-mine to-day through a miner named John TUlev entering a shaft with a naked light. Tilley, woo was badly burned about the head and arms, was removed to the hospital.
