He shoved the bundle from the ledge with a broom, jestingly crying : "Suppose it's murder." The bundle fell into the courtyard, four stories below. Taggert then opened tho parcel and found tho body of tho girl. She had been strangled. The police had previously thoroughly searched Polter's rooms without finding anything. Katie Muller, who lived with Polter, has been arrested as an accessory.
