EASTER TRAM TRAFFIC.
The takings on the city tramways for Good Friday have already been published in The Post, but a comparison of the amounts collected over what is generally regarded as the Easter period this year and the last should prove interesting. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday last the receipts totalled £1655 2s lid, against £1236 4s 3d for the corresponding period last year. The detailed figures were: — March, 1910. The total number of passengers carried on the special cars on Sunday morning totalled 523, and on the special cars oh the same night 189, the 1 actual revenue being £14 18s 3d.
