fBT TSLESJUra— VRISS ASSOCIATIOIC-1 MASTERTON, 27th March. The Autumn Meeting of" the Wairararapa Racing Club opened on Saturday at the Tauherenikau course. The weather w.u fine and the attendance larger than in the previous year. The sum of £5422 was put through the totalisator, a* against £5148 for the firft day last year. Ten bookmakers were licensed. Remaining results :— Nursery Handicap, of 75 soys ; for two-year-olds ; four furlongs. — British Maid, 6.9, 1; Killaloo, 8.10, 2* Inspection 7.9, 3. ANo started : Longwood, Royal Knight, Merry Widow. Won by a length. Time, 49seo. Wardell Handicap, of 115 soys ; six furlongs. — Advantage, 7.8, 1; Te Rofi, 7.7, 2; Sunbonnet, 8.12, 3. Also started : Full Rate, Liza, Overtime. Won by a length. A. head separated second and third. Time, lmin 15sec. Mahaki Hack Handicap, of 70 soys; five furlongs. — Palestine, 7.6, 1 ; Prancer, 7.3, 2; Leahora, 7.12, 3. Also »Urted : Magneto.-Merrie Land, Bow Bells, Aimwell, Fifi, Fighting Maid. Won by a neck. A good third. Time, lmin 2 3-ssec.
