A team from tho Civil Sorvico Rifles went to Eketahuna on Good Friday to fire a mutch with tho Eketahuna Mounted Rifles. The weather was fine, but tho wind wa* variable' whfn tho match was tired, which resulted in v win for the Wellington men by tho narrow margin ■of 16 points. Tho visitors were very hospitably entertained, nnd hope to meet thoir country comrades in Wellington at some (uture date, when a return match can bo fired.
