BODY FOUND ON THE BEACH.

A body found on the Foxton Beach yesterday proves to be that of a man about sft Bin in height, and between fifty and sixty years of age, who \va» slightly bald, with reddmh whisker* turning grey, and apparently a working man of seafaring appearance. Tho body was fully dressed, but the feet had slippers on. A handkerchief was discovered in a pocket in the clothes with the name "T. Hatuison" in the corner. The body had apparently been in the water about seven days when discovered. It ik suggested that the victim might have been a Bailor who had fallen overboard off torn* patting veeael, although m ftuoh low had been reported.
