DOCTOR'S SUDDEN DEATH.
• ♦ - [B* TELEOEAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] FEILDING, Thii Day. Dr. Monckton, one of the oldest surgeons here, dropped dead at his gate yesterday afternoon, probably from heart disease. Deceased had been an nrmy surgeon in England and came to New Zealand about 30 veara ago. He lived at Invercargill and whilst there leased the Auckland Islands from the Government, and grazed sheep there. Afterwards ho lived in Greymouth, and then came to Feilding where he was Mayor in 1889.
