NAVY LEAGUE CONCERT.
The first part of the Navy League programme at the Town Hall to-night consists of vocal and instrumental items by members of the Challenger's crew. The items include "The Admiral's Broom," by A. S Cleave, E.R.A. ; "The Larboard Watch," Messrs. Cleave and Symons ; "Red, White, and Blue,"' by A. R. Symons, Chief E.R.A. ,- and "The Deathless Army," by J. P. Neal, A.B. The audience is expected to join in the choruses to the latter, also in tho case of Mr. Ernest Parkes's songs — "What We Have We'll Hold" and "When Britain Really Ruled the Waves." The band of the warship is to march down, playing en route, and will give a preliminary selection at the hall portico before 8 p.m. After tho distribution of prizes there is to be a banjo quartett by Messrs. Watt, Everard, Kiernan, and Gill ; a humorous duet by Messrs. J. Dykes and A. W. Newton, and a double quartett, "The Moon has his Eyes on You," and a final selection by the band, "Our Glorious Empire" is to conclude the performance. The chair is to be taken by the Mayor, president of the local branch of the league.
