[BY TELEGRAPH — PHESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. William Averill Humphreys, charged with manslaughter in connection with the recent motor-car accident resulting in the death of Captain Pavitt, was further remanded to-day till 2nd November. Bail, as previously, was allowed.
