LONDON WOOL SALES. BETTER COMPETITION.
By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received July 13, 11.15 a.m.) LONDON, 12th July, At the wool sales, a good selection was offered, and there was better competition and a brisk sale. Crossbreds brought late rates ; merinos were unchanged. Messrs. Murray, Roberts and Co. have received the following wool market cablegiam from their London agents, Messrs. Sanderson, Murray and Co., dated London, 12th July : "The market is irregular, raid coarse inferior crdssbreds are weaker. Compared with the close of the May sales, superjor greasy merino shows no change, but inferior scoured merino has declined TJt to 10 per cent, and other descriptions of merino 5 per cent."
