It is reported that the German Government yacht Seestern is seriously overdue at New Britain from Brisbane, Grave fears are entertained for the safety of the vessel. \ — — _ The Seestern visited Brisbane at the beginning of last month in connection with the case of the Tobi Islanders, who had been taken away by the ketch Envoy, whose captain refused to return " them. SIX WEEKS LATE. . (Received July 12, 8.30 a.m.) ' LONDON, 11th July.' The barque Sydenham, bound from Newcastle to Coquimbo,* is six weeks overdue.
