GERMAN OFFICERS ARRESTED.
AN APOLOGY TENDERED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received July 12, 8.55 a.m.) BUENOS AIRES, 11th July. Three policemen arrested, maltreated, and endeavoured to shoot two German officers at San Bernardino, in Paraguay, who interfered to protect the proprietress of a restaurant from a policeman's insult. The Government of Paraguay Has apologised to the German representative for the incident.
