Copra active ; small supplies offering, j South Sea, in bags, sold at £19 17s 6d to £20 ss. Mr. H. Ernest Leighton reports; — "My clearance eale of Mrs. Berntsen's dairy stock, etc., at Wainui on Friday was largely attended. Competition all through was very keen, making values high. The cows were in low condition and backward. I sold one cow at £6 12s 6d, one at £6, one at £5 7s 6cT, one at £5, one at £6 15s, orie at £4 2.« 6d, one at £5 7s Od, one at £4 17s 6d, one at £4 15s, one at £5 2s 6d ; one at £8 10s, one .at £7 15s, one at £9, one at £6 15s; dog-cart at £10 12s 6d, milk-cart £7 7s 6d, harness £2 14s. I aluo sold a hoise, pony, separator, milk cans, dishes, poultry, potatoes, hay, and sundries at satisfactory prices."
