AUCTION AND PROPERTY SALES

Messrs Harcourt and Co. will sell by public auction, at their rooms, 19a, Lambton-quay, on Tuesday, 13th inst., at 2.30 p.m., a leasehold property, situated in Hospital-road, together with eight dwellings erected thereon ; a property in Taranaki-street, having a frontage of 37ft, by a depth of 100 ft, together with a four-roomed cottage; also the late Mrs. Dixon's Te Horo farm, containing 650 acres (more or less), situated on the Manawatu line, one mile and a half from Te Horo railway station. D. Hyde, late Chief Poultry Expert, who is leaving Wellington. On Wednesday they will hold a sale of household furnishings, Bechstein piano, and effects, in their rooms, at 1.30 o'clock, and on Friday they will hold an attractive sale of household furniture, Bonn piano, Italian bedstead, and effects, at the residence, "Mahana," 107, Richmondstreet, Petone, on account of Mr. Thos. A. Radcliffe, who is leaving New Zealand. Messrs. Levien, Shallcrass and Co. notify that their next sale of household furniture and effects will be held at the Central Auction Rooms, Willis-street, on Tuesday afternoon, commencing at 2 p.m. On Thursday afternoon, at their Land Mart, the firm will sell, in conjunction with Messrs. It is saidto be a desirable site for a business man's country residence, a racing stable, or a poultry farm. Messrs. Levien, Shallcrass and Co. also insert a preliminary advertisement regarding ' the sale of a freehold farm property in the Horokiwi Valley, not far from the township of Pahantanni, and within easy access of Wellington. On the land stand 25 houses, returning an average aggregate rental of £2200. On the same day the firm are submitting a residential property in Epuni-street.
