ORARI DELAYED. Last night's 'heavy rain necessitated a complete cessation of coaling operations on the New Zoaiand Shipping Company's steamei Orari, and in consequence her departure for London has been postponed from 2" p.m. today to 7 o'clock to-morrow morning. THE MAPOURIKA, A message fiom Westport states that the MapouriUa ai lived there .it 5 a.m. to-day liom Greymonth, and sailed at 11 a.m. for Nelson. She is timed to leave Nelson at 10 a.m. to-morrow for Wellington, and should arnve here between 0 and 7 o'clock in the evening. The want of trucks nuisance is again in evidence, and the colliers Waipon and Kaiiuna have been seriously delayed on that account. Their times of departures for K.upara and Lyltelton ' ropectively are accordingly uncertain. The appointments of Captains R. H. Gibbons and F. A. Hardy as harbourmaster and pilot at Manukau and Hokiangu respectively arc gazetted. Captain Tale, who nad charge of the Weathersfleld on her run ,to Suva, is taking command of the Pukald again. Captain Watson returns to Wellington. It appears that the collier Petone. which arrived heic jesterd.iy afternoon from Napier, threw one of her propeller blades on her last run from Wellington to Napier. She proceeded -on her waj, however, and after discharge at Napier, returned to this poit. The blade is being restored, and the vessel was to get away for Greymonth to-day.
