Maiden Hack Handicap ; five furlongs.—Sublime, 10.3, 1; The Raft, 9.5, 2; Te Raumeria, 9.2, 3. Seven starters. Won by a Jength. Time, lmin 6sec. Waikanae Handicap, seven furlongs — Baldos^ 9.8, 1; Pearl Reef, 9.13, 2; Lloyds, 9.1, 5. Also started — Mungamotio and Pluck. Won by half a length. Time, lmin 35sec. Te Hapara Steeplechase, about 2£ miles t-^Moza-rt, 10.5, 1; Te Kainui, 10.4, 2; Te Kohan, 9.7, 3. Only starters. Won by three lengths. Time, smin 40sec. Second Hack Flat, six furlongs. — Sublime, 9.9, 1; My Darling, 9.7, 2; Ardfert, 9.0, 3.
