The Bishop of Salisbury (Right Rev. J. Wordsworth, D.D.), who accompanied the clergy and pastors who recently made a visit to Germany, informed a church meeting in London that he bad not found in that country any real desire for war. His Lordship added that he had, however, found a considerable desire for making provision for war, and for the possession of such naval and military supremacy as might enable Germany to dictate to Europe in a crisis — or, if necessary, to the United States.
