LODGE MEETINGS.
At the weekly session of the Pioneer Lodge, No. 11, 1.0. G.T., which was held in the Itecbabite Hall, Manners-street, Bro. R. Coulter, C.T., presided. There wp.s a tfood attendance of members. Two candidates were proposed. The item for the evening was '"Invite Eechabitcs," who were officially received, as were the members of the Kia Ora Lodge ot H.M.S. Challenger. The following contributed to a very enjoyable programme : Sibter Smith, Bro. W. Smith, -Steel, Johns, Wanderberg, Connor, Hodson, and Bridgefoot. Refreshments were provided by the Harmony Committee. The fortnightly meeting of Court Sir Geo. Grey, A.0.F., was held last night, on the hull, Lambton-quay. It was decided to invite Court Lady Glasgow to visit the court on next meeting night.
Four boys, the eldest of whom is 14 years of age, are discovered to be the ''pirates" who have made repeated thefts oii the yachts in Auckland Harbour. Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M., in the Juvenile Court,' after hearing their story, severely admonished the two younger and remanded the others till Saturday, when he will settle with them.
