After the Second Amateur Handicap the stewards, on thoir own initiative, without a protest, considered the running o£ Doughboy in relation to the previous day, and disqualified him for the race and for a period of two months. Mr. J. Thomson, owner and rider^ was alleged to have given the stewards mis leading evidence, and was included in the disqualification.
