The accident to the vessel's machinery necessitated a delay of five hours. WIMBLEDON LEFT SYDNEY. In continuation of her vo>age from Kew York, the United States and Australian .steamer Wimbledon left Sydney yesterday for Auckland. She will afterwards come on to Wellington, and it is. expected that she will reach here by the 16th inst. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents for the vessel. Stiffening ballast is now being put in the barque Lady Wolseley, which is expected to be ready for sea about Wednesday next. According to the Otago Daily Times, the vessel is under orders to sail for Ca'.eta Colosa (Chili), where she will probably load a cargo of nitrate for the United Kingdom or the Continent.
